Dear Friends,

We received another inch or two of snow last night! Winter seems to want to hang around for awhile this year, so be careful out there this morning as you head out for Saturday fun, chores, work, and errands.

I've got some news about upcoming events at Seminary Church that I would like to share with you this morning.

1. Join us for worship tomorrow morning as we continue through our "Holy Week Journey to Hope" and take a look at what Jesus was up to on Monday of Holy Week. Don't for get to bring you altar decorations. Last week we had a lot of ponys and palm branches decorating our altar area. It was beautiful. Someone (Marv) brought in a Indianapolis Colts pony.........what a sense of humor!!!!

2. Our second cross is out near the sidewalk depicting Pam Sunday. I've heard a few reports that people are stopping as they walk by the church to look at the crosses and read the scripture and explainations posted on the crosses. We are touching hearts here in Roanoke with the gospel message. Thank you, Sarah and Mark for all of your hard work on this effort! Thank you.

3. Seminary Church is starting a Youth Sunday School class on March 14th! I'm planning on leading the class and am excited to help lead and teach our youth about Jesus and his gospel message. We will be meeting downstairs near the children's Sunday School class! God bless, Michael, Cheryl, Cara, and Dave for volunteering to team lead our younger adult Sunday School class so that I can be freed up to work with our youth on Sunday morning. It's an exciting time for Seminary Church - we will have 4 Sunday morning Sunday School classes running on Sunday morning. 3 and 1/2 years ago we had only one adult class on Sunday morning and no children's Sunday School classes. We've come a long way in providing opportunities for children, youth and adults to deepen their faith walk.

4. The adult choir is beginning to work on their spring cantata scheduled for Sunday, APril 25th. Do you enjoy singing? Join us on WEd evenings for rehearsal. Next full choir rehearsal is March 10th from 7-8:30pm. We have a lot of fun and do a LOT of singing!

I'll see you tomorrow! Be careful out there today! God's blessings to you. KAthy

Mark 11:15

They arrived at Jerusalem. Immediately on entering the Temple, Jesus started throwing
out everyone who had set up shop there, buying and selling.
