Palm Sunday!

Greetings Friends!

I'd like to remind all of you that this Sunday we will be celebrating together our Palm Sunday worship service here at Seminary Church @ 10:00am Join us for a wonderful time of waving palms, music preaching, choir anthem, and fellowship together. Remember that this Sunday our sermon time will revolve around Jesus' experience on Friday and Saturday of Holy Week. Also, be sure to join us at the Interchurch Palm Sunday worship service at St. Joseph Church in Roanoke (6th Street) at 7:00pm tomorrow. Our choir will be singing.

I'd also like to take a moment to remind you to sign up for our prayer vigil on Good Friday. There are many times still available, both for at home prayer and prayer in our beautiful prayer chapel here at Seminary Church . There will be prayer outlines for you to use in your bulletin this Sunday, so even if you cannot commit to a certain time during the day on Good Friday, please take some time on Good Friday to lift up your heart in prayer.

Don't forget that we are adding a Maundy Thursday worship service on Thursday of next week at 7:00pm. Also, two services are availble on Good Friday from our Interchurch group of churches here in Roanoke. The 3:00pm service is at Pleasant Chapel UMC and Seminary Church is hosting a Service of Tenebrae (Darkness) at 7:30pm on Good Friday. Please plan on worshipping at one of these services. To really experience Easter, one must walk with Jesus on Good Friday!
