After being out of town for a couple of days to visit my daughters, Mom, and brother and his family, it's good to be back! We had a marvelous time together sharing together, laughing together, eating together, and well, just spending time together as a family. It's always good to reconnect and share what has been going on in our lives over the last few weeks and to see how much my nephews have grown in eight short months!

This evening Seminary Church is hosting the memorial service for Charlene Pressler who passed away in October of 2008. She is the sister of Jay Sagers one of our long time members of the church. I never had the opportunity to meet Charlene which means that I must rely on the conversations I have with family and friends to get an idea of her personhood. I'm grateful for Charlene's husband, Tom and the Sager's family aong with their willingness to share information, stories, and parts of Charlene's life with me this past week.
