Greetings Friends!

As we continue to dig out from last night's fresh snowfall and the drifts the windy conditions formed as we slept, I'd like to remind you of a couple of "happenings" at Seminary Church this week.
1. Join us in worship tomorrow as we celebrate "the leaders among us"! We will have a wonderful time of thanking, celebrating, and commisioning the lay leaders of Seminary Church! Each person we celebrate tomorrow has a special ministry or ministries for Jesus Christ and I am very grateful and humbled by all of the hard work, passion, and love each person contributes to the mission of Seminary Church.
2. Don't forget to bring in you items for our Haiti Health Kits! You have this week and next to bring in items. Last Sunday, 30 empty bags along with information about our mission of Health Kits for Haiti were passed out in the Roanoke community in hopes that many will respond and help us in our mission. This Sunday we pick up the bags. I pray God will bless our mission greatly.
3. Next Sunday, February 14th, we will be praying over the bags before we take them to Sonrise UMC, Fort Wayne to be shipped to Haiti. My sermon title next week is "Love Wins"! Worship and celebrate with us!
4. Valentines Day is coming! Start your celebration next Saturday evening at Seminary Church enjoying a delicious spaghetti dinner prepared by youth leader Michael Vetor! Our youth will be seating each of you and serving the scrumptious dinner! Entertainment provided by "Broadway Crooner" Kathy Miller. It should be an evening of great food and great fun!
