Hi All,

It's been an incredibly busy week with lots of wonderful things happening at Seminary Church!
Here's a short recap and a look at things to come.

1. Join us for worship tomorrow morning as we continue on in our sermon series on the Psalms. I'm really excited to preach on "Psalms of Reorientation" and pray that God will give us a message that will impact our lives for Jesus Christ. And, we have a wonderful cook-out and potluck planned after worship on Sunday! Please plan on coming even if you can't bring anything. Marv and Ron are grilling out for us on our beautiful patio grill!

2. Our first youth group meeting happens the Sunday evening at 5pm. Please pray for Cheryl, Michael, Cara, and the youth. Cheryl and I made 15 home visits on Wednesday afternoon to all of the youth at Seminary. We had a wonderful time touching base with the kids and their families and learned that there are a lot of kids looking forward to being a part of the group. Wii!!! Here we come!

3. The Harmony Circle of our UMW had a WONDERFUL outing at "The Quiet Place" in Churubusco, IN on Tuesday afternoon. What a beautiful place! Thanks, ladies for allowing me to be a part of that special time!

4. Cheryl, Cara, and I had a wonderful time at Women of Faith last Saturday in Indianapolis. Mandisa rocked the house and all of the speakers were incredible.

5. I'm giving a recital this afternoon at Evangelical United Methodist Church on Flaxmill Rd. in Huntington at 2:00pm. I'm excited - Joni is a wonderful teacher and challenges me to do my best! Even with a few months off the piano from the broken finger, I've got 4 piano pieces to play. Last October, when I called Joni and told her that I had broken my finger and wouldn't be able to play for awhile, she said to me, "Kathy, keep practicing with your left hand!" That might give you an insight on Joni and how she so much wants her students to do well and progress. I also have 8 vocal pieces - some really challenging stuff!

God bless you all. Have a wonderful Saturday and I'll see you tomorrow in church or sooner if you are planning on coming to the recital. Peace, Kathy
