Last night our newest new member class met and spent tme in fellowship with the leaders of the church by having dinner together. The leadership passed on lot's of information about Seminary Church and our life together by speaking about their areas of ministry and service. The new members responded with questions which lead to a lot of interesting conversation about the ministry and mission of Seminary Church. If you haven't had a chance to get to know our newest members, I would highly recommend that you take the time to meet them and talk to them. Each one has great ideas about ministry, the future of the church and they have already brought a lot of energy and excitement to ministry at Seminary. Have you heard about our upcoming canoe trip on June 20th? New member Dave Springer is organizing the trip. Have you seen the teddy bears in our pews for those people who need an extra special "hug"? New member Cheryl Britt has organized the ministry. Are you enjoying the recent addition of video in the sanctuary? New member Mike Vetor is helping out by putting together videos and helping during Snday morning worship. Have you seen Cara Vetor behind the office desk on Wed monrings? Have you seen Mary Mc Comb bringing food and helping to clean up after our famous potlucks? Other ideas flowing from this group include youth ministry, a ramp to the downstairs fellowship area, nursery school, ect...... this new member group is a pretty awesome group of people.
